"Two weeks after I bought my house, State Farm called me and told me that they wouldn’t be able to cover the insurance on the house. The insurance would run out October the 6th, because of one or two missing shingles. Which they basically screwed me almost on the house. State Farm said that I owed them money starting date July 31st-oct 6th. I hadn’t even bought the house or moved in. I bought the house on September the 8th, so the insurance should have been in effect on that day. Somehow, I’m assuming the State Farm guy Tony screwed up on his end and put it in effect on July 31st. They didn’t even give me time to make repairs on the house if needed be. They should have said, “Hey we’re not gonna cover this house, because of this and this.” They should have done that before I bought the house. The home inspector that I hired said the roof was alright but eventually it would need fixing within 2-3 years. State Farm should have stepped in and stopped the process with there home inspector and I’m pretty sure the homeowner would have fixed the issues, but instead they waited two weeks after it was all said and done. Situation got fixed, I only had to pay one month payment after showing them “proof” of when I bought the home. Doesn’t make any sense, because the bank I was getting the mortgage through notified them about it and sent them a check for a whole year. I was able to do the escrow thing with the bank. I would not recommend State Farm when it comes to home insurance. Go to Allstate Rex stilltner is the guy to go to."

"I was told on phone my bill be 84 they took 137 out bank they said it was for down payment they never said anything about on phone then the next month they added another vehicle that I didn't want said I had pay 173 then when I tried to get them to fix it they said that what they going charge that they couldn't do nothing about it. If we didn't like it go on down the road they five other insurance then they council it didn't even tell us"

"They are not professional at all would not help my parents told them there are other insurance company's to go find one if they werent happen after trying to over charge them then cancelled there whole policy without them knowing. They have no respect amd no desire to help people and when trying to contact them they eithet hang up or say they will return ur call but don't. Not a place i would recomend the way they were with my parents was not right!!!"
